Brian Blackwell, Founder
Brian Blackwell is the Founder & CEO of UPNIN Inc, an innovative business network that owns or holds interests in a diverse portfolio of companies in the technology, banking, private equity, real estate, insurance, outdoors, and sports industries.
Core assets of UPNIN Inc. include: UPNIN Investments, UPNIN Rentals, UPNIN Rewards, UPNIN Real Estate Series, SeatCaps, UPNIN Fund, & PitchMan Apparel.
Prior to forming UPNIN Investments, the first of many UPNIN Companies, in 2008, he worked for the family office of TKI Investments, LP from 2006-2011. In 2015, Brian helped co-found Pitchman Apparel with former Major League Baseball player Bobby Livingston. He holds his real estate license at WestMark Companies in Lubbock where he is an associate, and also possesses his Life, Healthy, Property and Casualty Insurance Licenses.
Brian graduated from Texas A&M University in 2006 and received a Masters of Business Administration in Real Estate Finance from Southern Methodist University in 2010. During college Brian interned at the Office of George H.W. Bush’s Houston Office and after college interned in Washington DC at the White House. Previously he was on Mitt Romney’s 2012 Presidential fundraising team and George P Bush for Land Commissioner.
Currently, Mr. Blackwell serves on Mav-Pac Chairmen’s Circle, DEA Holdings Corporate Board, Texas A&M Athletic Ambassadors Council, LEGACY, and Lubbock Association of Realtors.
Brian enjoys reading biographies, networking, attending sports events, politics, and spending time with his family including his niece and nephew Bryson and Harper Distel.
